This was another short stop and quick visit we made as we ventured away from downtown Hilo.

Mauna Kea
second highest point on earth
Mauna Kea is the highest point in the state of Hawaii and the SECOND highest point on planet Earth. We drove up to the very top, stopping along the way to make sure we adjusted to the altitude. The very top was freezing outside, we parked and got cozy for the sunset over the clouds.

Holei Sea Arch

The journey out to the Sea Arch might have been way cooler than the actual view of the Arch itself. It was a bit far and I wish we could have gotten closer to it, but still cool none the less. The drive out down to the cliff line was entirely unique.

The Hill

I call it the hill cause i'm actually not sure where this magical spot is at! We snacked, had a few drinks, juggled, met some new friends and stayed still sunset.
